As a band of four independent songwriters (Dan Rodman, Mattew Wightman Ticciati, David J Murphy and Darla Murphy), The Theory of George was a platform to add heft and meat to each member's solo work by providing the opportunity to perform the songs live in a full band set up. While the band may some day reunite and rekindle these old classics with new energy and probably new material, the band was primarily a temporary project and is now given pause by the wide geographic separation of its members. tl;dr - people wrote songs alone, formed this band to play them live, moved away around the world, might come back.
